Shhhh! The password is... "Performance Artist"
![]() |
The Explanation - Here is the dancing douchebag of Bedford Avenue.. He explains why he does what he does... if you can call it an explanation. You see, he is a "performance artist". I guess this is what trust funds, mid-west suburb life, drugs, and stories and pictures about "Williamsburg, Brooklyn" from other hipsters can do to a person. It sends them here to be unique and free. CLICK HERE TO SEE THE VIDEO of this artist who stole an apartment from a hard working New Yorker. |

Dancing with the tards'- Folks, in case you didn't know, this is how to be cool. Oh sure, some native New Yorkers might want to slam that radio over his head and hang him with that snake, but a true artistic Billyburger will tell you this douche is normal, just "expressing himself ". CLICK HERE TO WATCH THE VIDEO and vomit. Notice how "quirky girl" and "bearded boy" join in on the fun. |
It seems as if birds are flying by and dropping hipster shit pellets that hit the ground, take over a neighborhood and immediately start being extremely hip and cool without first thinking that it might not be accepted by the natives who actually work for a living and don't find being unique, well unique. Then, when developers see that wacky, carefree, vintage clothes wearing, dirty artists and musicians are willing to move here from anywhere in the country and pay $2000 - $4000 for an older apartment that used to be home to ethnic hard working family, they knock it all down and build those boring looking condos for the intellectual hipster transplants, the lesbian couples with asian child, the Lands End Catalog couples, bankers, hedgefunders and all sorts of other out of town people that can't believe they see the occasional rat on our streets and that every restaurant in this city has roaches and that we have bums. I hate when this is all summed up with the word "gentrification". It's not that simple to me.

These kinds of people drive me crazy, too, but I don't know why you're so offended. NYC is full of this sort. Shit it's like another planet, there. I never met more rude people than I did when I visited there. I'll never understand why anyone would choose to live in a zoo like that. I paid $140 to park my vehicle in a parking garage for 2 days! And it was the roof! I paid for fucking air! I had to walk 7 blocks to get to the hotel. Fuck that, never again. I was raised near Buffalo and now live outside the most dangerous city in America, Detroit, but it's cake compared to a zoo like that. For the record, though, I liked Chinatown. Best Chinese food I ever had.

I actually enjoyed this guy. He's the first 'old' new york artist I've seen in a long time. Back in the pre-hipster aeon, guys like this were all over the East Village and the subway. Before the trust fund kids took over.
Give this guy a break. At least he's entertaining. And that girl dancing with him is definitely a European tourist.

Like this guy?? Come on man, he's sickening the normal people and fueling the hipsters. Are you sure you're the "HIPSTERMINATOR"? ahahah

I never said the guy wasn't a wacko. Fuck, anyone who says he wants to "make people smile" is a pervert in my book. All that energy to keep dancing probably comes from coke (and I don't mean cola).
What I said was that he reminds me of the kind of street artist who was around before the hipsters destroyed everything. No brand name or ironic clothing. Just a typical street clown. New york was never meant to be all about nice clean people. It always had it's weirdos. And how many of them actually came from NYC anyway?
If you want to see real hipsters create shitty art, go to they guy who filmed the nygirlofmywetdreams wanker:

So basically anything that isn't considered normal or can be seen on tv is then classified as a hipster or hipster act?

Isn't that guy more of the classic "I love everybody"/ "I don't care about my image" HIPPIE??? Real Hipsters aren't really like that at all - they are snobby, apathetic, judgmental, tight-pants wearing clique types who would NEVER be caught dead dancing like that alone on a city street... unless there was a group decision involving a few of their clones and American Apparel told them to. They do not love anybody but themselves and an "outsider" would most certainly have to be invited by one of their reps to dance with them. I come into a contact with hipsters every day, and believe me, they would think this guy is the biggest loser they have ever seen. See that shirt he is wearing? - Hipsters never wear printed shirts like that - even Ironically. If there were any hipsters around, you would know it, because they would lean against the wall smoking a cigarette, sporting neon sunglasses and thinking "wow...appearing in the same vicinity as this guy is totally tarnishing my image".
There is actually a pretty big line between "eccentrics" AND the "scene/hipster/indie" crowd - a HUGE difference in attitude.

I hear you, however I'm being very general in my entries. This guy might not be one of those "im too cool for school" hipsters, but he is the product of a part of Brooklyn that thinks it's hip but really isn't. I classify a whole range of people as hipsters. It's easier that way. Have a good day!

I could just see it now...if he came to my hood, Sunset Park. The neighbors would really be disturbed by him, complain to the police, and then get arrested for being Mexican.
yeah.

Wow, believe it or not, some people actually like to go on about their day and not run into no talent ass clowns who think they're artists. Why the fuck should I be subjected to "art" in a random part of Brooklyn that isn't a designated "arts" area? If I'm out to get a slice of pizza or just going to see a friend, why the fuck should I have to witness this ridiculous shit?

I'd love to see him do this in East NY, Brooklyn. He would get his ass robbed & kicked in a NY minute!

There is no point whatsoever to what this guy does. I've seen him the few unfortunate times I ventured to the Bedford stop and I wanted to put him out of his fucking misery (and me out of mine.) Btw, I think the most significant factor that makes a hipster a hipster is that they make "art" but lack a social conscience or even a shred of meaning. It's aesthetically unique to them, and thats supposedly meaningful. Die, hipsters, die!
