Hipsters Dodge Mid West Snow Storm via Transplantation
![]() ![]() |
Thousands and thousands of Mid Westerners were not effected by the massive storm that engulfed the Mid West by shielding themselves with galleries, ultra-chic lounges, coffee shops, converted factories, Thai restaurants, over priced apartments and other means of shelter in Brooklyn. We asked one group of hipsters walking down Bedford Avenue what they thought of the the storm that shut down numerous roadways that are still used by their non-hip counterparts back in their home states, one of them said "fair trade rum mojito with organic mint is the new latte". Another artist in the group said, "do you know the nearest store that sells roll your own cigarettes?" Banking officials are saying that wire transfers have not been affected and that "money is flowing freely from banks in the Midwest to NYC" and that "hipsters and their parents back home should not worry" |

I found the "King Of The Hill" episodes about hipsters gentrification:

I also noticed that on Tues Morning the L Train was empty. All the Hipsters were still in bed from St. Patty's Day.

I am from the mid-west. I am proud of it. And me and my friends don't want those scrawny, impotent, icksters to move back! We don't want them! We'll kick their ass! Why do you think they left in the first place? Isn't any one kicking their ass in New York? WTF?
